In order to see a specialist in British Columbia, such as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, you will need to be referred by your family doctor, midwife, nurse-practitioner or other community physician you may have seen such as a walk-in clinic physician or emergency physician. Your care provider will send a letter asking us to see you and outline the main concern(s) and your brief history. Sometimes, your care provider will arrange for you to get further tests before seeing us. You will be contacted by our office to arrange your appointment date. We aim to review and triage your referral within 2 weeks.

If you have been previously seen by a physician at Willow Obstetrics and Gynecology but it has been more than 6 months since your last visit or there is a new concern we require a new referral, unless you have ongoing long term follow up arranged with one of the physicians.
