Who We Are

Dr. Maria J. Odulio

Dr. Odulio obtained her medical degree from the University British Columbia. She then completed the UBC residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2003 she and her family moved from Vancouver to Prince George.  For 9 year she was the designated site-specific lead in her specialty for the 3rd year NMP medical students. She received the APOG Educator Award in 2013 and the Clinical Teacher of the Year from the NMP class of 2016. Most recently, she was awarded the 2020 UBC Clinical Faculty Award for Excellence in Practice Teaching. She served a two year term as the Head of Surgery at UHNBC from 2020 to 2022. She is currently the Ambulatory Care Lead for the Department of Surgery.  She is also serving her 3rd term as the UHNBC Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to being a member of various hospital committees, Dr. Odulio is also involved in several projects with Facility Engagement.  On September 1, 2023 she will begin her new role as the Medical Lead for the Surgical Services Program.

Dr. Megan Thwaites

Dr. Megan Thwaites grew up in Prince George and went on to do her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Alberta. She completed medical school at the University of British Columbia through the Northern Medical Program and then her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Vancouver at UBC.  Her practice consists of General Obstetrics and Gynecology: including infertility, general urogynecology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and high risk obstetrics.  She is a clinical instructor with UBC and the Discipline Specific Site Leader for postgraduate obstetrics and gynecology at the University Hospital of Northern BC.  She is happy to be back in Prince George working as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for the Northern population. 

Dr. Natasha Pascas

Dr. Natasha Pascas is from Burnaby, BC and completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of British Columbia. She attended the Northern Medical Program in Prince George and is delighted to be back serving Northern British Columbians. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (FRCSC) at the University of Saskatchewan. 

Dr. Pascas practices general obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, general urogynecology and high risk obstetrics. She is proud to be a clinical instructor at UBC, teaching medical students and residents.

Dr. Lindsay Benoit

Dr. Lindsay Benoit was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in Kelowna, BC. She completed her medical degree in Prince George, BC as a student of the Northern Medical Program through the University of British Columbia. She is thrilled to have returned to Prince George and practice general Obstetrics and Gynecology in the north. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary in Alberta. She holds a Masters of Science in Anatomical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science Honors from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She is a clinical instructor through UBC and helps to train medical students, Family Medicine residents and Obstetrics and Gynecology residents.
